Final Race of 2011 For Meyer and Team

Noble, OK – At Thunder Valley Raceway Park located in Noble, Oklahoma, Randy Meyer Racing participated in his final Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series divisional event of 2011 on October 7th through the 9th.
Randy Meyer qualified number 1 with a 5.37 second pass; however, due to rain the race had to be rescheduled. When they came back the following weekend, Meyer had to race the number 8 qualifier, James Thompson out of Vernon, Texas.
In the opening round, Meyer defeated Thompson with another great run at 5.393 at 264.86 mph. Unfortunately, Randy Meyer lost in the semi-finals to Michael Manners due to a red light, automatically disqualifying him. With the semi-finals finish, Meyer maintained his Division Five point’s lead.
