MEGAN MEYER

No stranger to a life in the fast lane, Megan Meyer grew up around the sport of drag racing and in 2004 at just 10 years of age, she was given the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a Junior Dragster and took over the driving duties with no hesitations. Daughter of renowned championship winning driver and team owner, Randy Meyer, Megan has competed in over 60 race events and is currently the driver of an MX2 Junior Dragster in the Senior Class, as well as a Mullis Super Comp Dragster which she steped up to looking to expand her passion for racing in 2010.


Accomplishments with Junior Dragster:
Wins/Runner-ups: 16/13
2008 3rd Place points finish at Kansas City
2009 1st Place points finish at Kansas City
2010 1st Place points finish at Kansas City
2011 4th Place points finish at Kansas City


Education:
Megan recently graduated from Spring Hill High School and maintained a strong A-average. She participated in many clubs and activities such as the after school program and volunteer club. She was the varsity cheerleading captain, the spirit club representative for Student Council, and was the executive board leader of SADD (Students against destructive decisions). She is currently attending Pittsburg State University in southern Kansas where she is studying Marketing and Graphics Communication Management. She is a member of the Marketing Association.

Future Goals: To  follow in dad's footsteps and drive an A/Fuel Dragster, and one day pilot a Top Fuel Dragster.

Interest Outside of Racing: Photography, cheerleading, traveling.
